Biography

Goldmine

  • During the Holiday Season in 2016, Brown teamed up with Walmart to give Youth Uprising students and Children from the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco a holiday shopping spree. The event, entitled “Trent Brown’s 77 Ways to Care Christmas,” paired Brown and his parents with local students for a holiday shopping spree at the Milpitas Walmart store.  The event was inspired by Brown’s father, Reginald Sr., a captain with the Albany (GA) Police Department who regularly participated in APD’s “Shop with a Cop” events. Trent Brown’s 77 Ways to Care Christmas provided gifts for an additional 30 children from the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco.
  • Brown participated in the 49ers annual Bike Build event during the 2015 season. In conjunction with Turning Wheels for Kids, a nonprofit organization that distributes bikes throughout the year with a focus on preventing childhood obesity and supporting low-income families, 49ers players and staff combined with volunteers to assemble 50 bikes and donate them to several students from the 49ers Academy.
