Aron Kennedy

Vice President, Game Day Production & Broadcast Operations

Aron Kennedy is in his ninth season with the 49ers, and his third season as vice president of game day production & broadcast operations. He previously served as the director of game day production & broadcast operations. In his current role, he oversees the game day presentation department and a team of nearly 200 game-day employees required to execute the game day entertainment and in-stadium production at Levi's Stadium.

During every 49ers home game, Kennedy and his team work behind the scenes to produce all content for the video boards and sound system, including team intros, instant replays, and celebration packages. Their expertise enables seamless transitions between the action on the field and in-venue entertainment such as the Gold Rush cheerleaders, Niner Noise, Hype Team, Sourdough Sam and the Flag Team. Kennedy also serves as the Engineer in Charge (EIC) for other world-class events held at Levi's Stadium inclusive of Super Bowl 50, the 2019 CFP National Championship Game, and the 2015 NHL Stadium Series. Thanks to his direction and leadership, the 49ers continue to innovate and push limits of technology, exhibited by the installation of a first-of-its-kind 8K resolution / 120 frames per second video replay system which has garnered industry wide recognition.
