Ray Wright is in his second season with the 49ers as the team’s head strength & conditioning coach. He joins the 49ers having spent five seasons (2010-14) with the Washington Redskins and one season with the Houston Texans (2009) as head strength & conditioning coach. Wright oversees all facets of the team’s offseason workout program, which extends through training camp and the entire season.
Wright joined Washington after eight seasons with the Houston Texans. Prior to being named Houston’s head strength and conditioning coach in 2009, he served seven seasons (2002-08) as the team’s assistant strength and conditioning coach.
