49ers React to San Jose Sharks Reaching First Stanley Cup Final

The Fins are skating to the promise land.

After 25 years, the San Jose Sharks are headed to their first Stanley Cup Final.

The Niners' neighbor to the south won the Western Conference on Wednesday with a 5-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues. 

The Sharks will either face the Pittsburgh Penguins or Tampa Bay Lightning in the next round, which begins on Monday.

Several Niners joined in on the celebration by voicing their support on Twitter. GM Trent Baalke saw the game in person and cameras caught him cheering next to Sharks GM Doug Wilson as the final horn blew.
