The San Francisco 49ers are set to unveil a new look to their team uniforms at the 3rd Annual Draft Party presented by Bud Light on Thursday, April 30. The sold-out event will take place at Great America Pavilion, home of the Red Zone Rally pregame experience located next door to Levi's® Stadium on the grounds of California's Great America.

The 49ers will be introducing the team's first alternate uniform in franchise history. The 49ers last made changes to their uniforms prior to the 2009 season, when San Francisco reintroduced the classic color of the 49ers, alongside the return of the grey facemask to the helmet. The new alternate uniform was the result of a coordinated effort between the 49ers, their players, Nike and the NFL.

"I think the fans are going to be excited when they see our new look," said 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman, who was among a group of players involved in the design of the new uniform. "I think the fans are going to understand we mean business. All I can say is we won't have to worry about how we look, because we'll know we look good."

The 49ers Draft Party presented by Bud Light will take place from 4-9 p.m. with nearly 10,000 members of the Faithful expected to be in attendance. Tickets to the event were free and awarded via random drawing. At the event, individuals and families of all ages will have the opportunity to experience some of the Great America rides free of charge, such as the Flight Deck roller coaster and bumper cars.

Fans will be able to get a "sneak peak" at the new jersey just prior to the official Draft Party unveiling by visiting the team's new Snapchat account at officialSF49ers.

Immediately after the new uniform has been unveiled at the 49ers Draft Party on Thursday, limited quantities of the 49ers new alternate jersey will be available for purchase at the 49ers Draft Party and at the 49ers Team Store locations at Westfield San Francisco Centre and Westfield Valley Fair. Beginning Friday, the jerseys will be on sale at all 49ers Team Stores and Shop49ers.com. Additionally on May 1, the new alternate jersey will go on display in the Trending gallery of the 49ers Museum presented by Sony.

Fans unable to attend the event are encouraged to visit 49ers.com and download the 49ers official mobile app where 49ers Studios will broadcast live programming throughout the day. The first installment of the newly created "49ers Live" program will feature team reporters Scott Kegley and Taylor Price hosting live coverage of the 2015 NFL Draft from inside the Comcast SportsNet Bay Area Studios at Levi's® Stadium. The live show will feature interviews with members of the Bay Area media and former 49ers greats, special segments live from the team's Draft Party and in-depth coverage of the 49ers during the NFL Draft.
