This team! It has taken many years, many hours, and many miles to get where I am today. I am so proud to be a part of this team and everything that it stands for. It's truly something special.
What is your favorite non-profit organization and why?
One Step Closer which is a horseback-riding program that provides equine therapy to individuals with disabilities and military veterans. I love their purpose and what they are doing with their horses! My dad was in the military and when you're raised by someone who has experienced it, you just know how therapeutic animals are to them. I believe in horses being a perfect match for our Veterans.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
I was at a BBQ and walked through the screen door. I broke it. You can barely see those things! Oh well, it happens.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends…
Yes! I love animals. I had birds, bunnies, horses, a dog and cat growing up. My cat Congo is still around and he is truly the king of the house. We call him "King Congo"!

I want to learn how to play guitar.

What is something fans would be surprised to learn about the Gold Rush?
We start rehearsing in April! Football season never ends in my eyes! Super Bowl happens and then we jump right back into training for the next audition.
What is your biggest goal this season?
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My dad is my biggest cheerleader. He is a wise, loud, energetic, and big-hearted man who has taught me everything he knows about life and about chasing a dream.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
For me, it was a combination of luck and a whole lot of hard work. When I first started training to audition, I was in college at the University of Nevada, Reno where I had met my college dance coach, Antonia. She happened to be a former Gold Rush girl and inspired me. She was also the one who convinced me to go for it even before I finished my degree! I spent two years in Nevada training with her dancing for a D-League basketball team, The Reno Bighorns. Before I knew it, Gold Rush auditions came around and I made it! Sometimes you just meet the right people at the right time. Five years later, Antonia is considered family to me and we talk every day.
