Making the decision to go back to school. While choosing to go back to college, I've learned nothing worth having comes easy. I love the challenge and the opportunities for growth that come with pursuing an education. I am in the process of majoring in Psychology and my goal is get into law enforcement. By the end of this year I will finally transfer to a four-year college to pursue by bachelor's degree and I couldn't be more proud.
Who or what inspires you?
My parents have always been the most inspirational people in my life. Whenever life gets tough my parents, more than anyone, have taught me to never give up. They constantly remind me that you can make every situation, good or bad, a learning opportunity. Their point of view in life has always been something I value and I'm so lucky that I have my parents to when I am in need of guidance. I truly aspire to be just as selfless, smart, loving, and optimistic as they are.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
My goal is to become a Police Officer! I've always wanted to get into Law Enforcement but knew I wanted to attend school and get some life experiences first. During my first season with the Gold Rush, I realized I was surrounded by so many hardworking women. Many girls on the team were either working outstanding jobs or going to school full time. Their hard work and dedication outside of Gold Rush truly inspired me and helped me reevaluate the direction of my career. I am proud to say that I choose to go back to college. I love the challenge and the opportunities for growth that come with pursuing an education. I am in the process of majoring in Psychology. By the end of this year I will transfer to a four-year college to pursue by bachelor's degree. I cannot wait for the day I can say "I did it" and having Gold Rush to thank as being a huge part of that success!
What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
My absolute favorite thing to do in the Bay Area is go to the beach in San Francisco. There is nothing I love more than being able to lay out on the sand and relax with a beautiful view. Family picnic days at the beach or even a quick visit just to watch the beautiful sunset is always a fun time!
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
Gaining 39 sisters. I feel so blessed to know that no matter what goes on outside in my personal life, I can come to practice expecting nothing less than to be showered with love and support. These women hold such a special place in my heart. They constantly uplift me and are truly my outlet!
What is your biggest goal this season?
My biggest goal this season is to live in the moment and not take a single moment for granted. This is currently my third season on the team and I'm amazed on how much time flies! I don't ever want to look back and regret not taking advantage of this amazing opportunity. I want to spend lots of time with the women on this team and take the time to get to know everyone! Time is so very precious, and this is a once in a lifetime experience, I want to make sure I am present!
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader*.*
I had no idea what to expect during my first-year auditioning for Gold Rush. As soon as I arrived at prelims I found myself completely blown away by the genuine and encouraging women on the team. I did not make the team that year but knew I would be back! While training for the next audition, I met Nina who is now my fellow teammate on Gold Rush. Nina was such a huge part of my journey in becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader. As soon as I met her she shared with me words of encouragement and provided insight on what it was like to be a part of Gold Rush. Nina inspired me in so many ways and it was because of her that I truly recognized how special Gold Rush was, this made it that much easier to work hard to make this team. I made the team during my second audition and since then Gold Rush has changed my life in numerous ways!
