What was your first job?
I was a lifeguard at the Legoland California water park.
What is your favorite non-profit organization and why?
My favorite non-profit organization is Best Buddies International. This organization builds bonds, friendships, and creates opportunities for individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. I was very involved in my local chapter and even held leadership positions. I admire this organization so much that I aspire to build a career in a related field.
Do you have any pets?
After the Campfire devastated Northern California, I fostered a beautiful boxer-mix who was left homeless. She's my new best friend and I am so happy to now have her in my family.
Who or what inspires you?
My biggest inspiration is my beautiful mother. She is the most selfless, driven, and hardworking individual, who radiates kindness to everyone. She constantly pushes me to be the best version of myself and to always reach for the stars.
Fun Fact:
I have an oddly amazing long-term memory-- I can remember the smallest details that are completely irrelevant. For example, I can remember various dreams I had when I was a young child or what I was wearing on a specific day 10 years ago.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
My favorite part about Gold Rush has to be the amazing group of women on and behind this team. They are some of the most supportive women I have met in my life, and some of the most genuine people I know.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My family is by far my biggest group of cheerleaders. No matter what is going on in my life, they always have my back and are there to help me in any way. I love them more than anything and I truly value the bond we have.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
I have danced competitively and recreationally for the past 17 years. Dance has always been my passion and my outlet to fully express myself. The thrill of performing is so special, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue professionally. I decided to take a leap of faith and tryout for this iconic team. I am so incredibly blessed to be where I am, making my dreams a reality.
