What, in your life, are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my family. Individually they are so well respected, driven and accomplished in everything they do in life. As a whole, they encourage me to be the best version of myself, are my biggest fans and best support system.
What is a non-profit organization you're involved in and why did you choose to get
involved?
During COVID, I started volunteering at a senior dog rescue shelter. I have taken in elderly foster dogs and have helped them find their forever homes!
Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends...
On my 14th birthday I got a Yorkshire terrier. His name is Milo and he currently lives in Seattle with my parents. He has no teeth, so his tongue constantly sticks out, he is deathly allergic to bees and he goes to work with my dad every day.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I have dual citizenship. I am both Canadian and American.
I used to work in the sports industry (Collegiate, NFL, MLS) but recently switched to working in the tech industry.
What does it mean to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader?
Being a Gold Rush Cheerleader is about representing the team, the organization, and the greater San Francisco community both on and off the field. We practice and perform to create a positive, energetic, and passionate setting at Levi's Stadium, home to the 49ers Faithful.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
At the core of everything we do, whether it's dancing, performing, volunteering or attending appearances, we put our relationships first. We prioritize our relationships with each other as teammates, we pride ourselves on the relationships we make and create with fans, and the relationship we have with the organization and the NFL community.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
Even though she is the biggest dance mom I know, my sister has always been my number one fan and my loudest cheerleader. She motivates me to try new things, set big goals and work hard.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
In college, I was on the Cheer & Dance team for the University of Washington Huskies (Go Dawgs!). Some of my best memories from college include cheering on the sidelines of Husky Stadium. After graduating, I worked in the NFL, and while I learned so much about the business side of the organization, I missed cheering from the best seats in the house; the sideline! I made the decision to try out for the 49ers because the Bay Area has become my home and football has always provided a community for me.
