If you were a tourist in San Francisco, what three things would be on the top of your must see list?
The Moraga mosaic stairs are a beautiful community project that makes for a great photo spot and after a climb, gives you an amazing panoramic view of the southwest side of the city. An afternoon walk around Pacific Heights also offers incredible hilltop views and it's close to the Marina which has tons of great shops and restaurants for dinner.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I come from a family of all girls, I only have sisters and girl cousins, and we all have names that start with the letter E!
What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?
I love to travel! Whether it's a road trip down the coast to see my family, or flying off and discovering somewhere completely new, I am always ready to pack my bags and find an adventure.
What is something fans would be surprised to learn about the Gold Rush?
I think the most surprising thing about our team is how strong of a support system it is. Being so beautifully diverse in backgrounds, dance styles, cultures and personalities, the community of the Gold Rush has inspired us to build each other up and allow ourselves to learn from what each and every individual as to offer. It truly is a sisterhood!
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My mom is by far my biggest cheerleader. Growing up, she drove me to every dance class, was at every recital and competition, bedazzled every costume, and now cheers the absolute loudest at Levi's Stadium.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
I moved to the bay area for college and it just so happened to be 2013, the year the 49ers played in Super Bowl XLVII. I grew up in a house of artists so I did not have a lot of history following football, but with this new chapter came new traditions and the creation of my own loyalty to my new home in the Bay Area. So, I bought my first 49ers shirt the day before the big game and although it did not end in a victory, I was hooked on the organization ever since. As a lifelong dancer, professional dancing and cheerleading was always something I had in the back of my mind. Doing further research, I found the 49ers Gold Rush represented everything I aspired to be: talented, confident, classy, and active in the Bay Area community. My rookie year, when I took the field for the first time, the adrenaline rush of performing took me over. The roar of the Faithful, the invigorating chill of the wind, my uniform's 49ers emblem proudly sparkling: the field was now my stage. I knew I was right where I belonged. I am humbled to say I have enjoyed three whole seasons cheering on the best team with the greatest fans in the NFL. Now on to year four!
What one word would you use to explain Gold Rush.
