What is your favorite non-profit organization and why?
One of my favorite non-profit organizations is called One Warm Coat. They provide jackets to the homeless. I love this organization because they provide something that may be overlooked by some people. It shows just how valuable even something as simple as a coat can be to someone in need.
Who or what inspires you?
Dance has always been my inspiration. Dancing is something that I can rely on no matter what. It is my sacred space that I can create whenever and wherever.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I used to be super quiet, shy and reserved until I started dance. Dance made me come out of my shell in the most amazing way possible.
What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
My favorite thing to do in the Bay Area is to go boating with my family at Lake Berryessa.
What impact do cheerleaders have during a game and/or in the community?
I believe that cheerleaders are the cherry on top of the game. They are the inspiration when the team isn't doing well and the extra magic that's needed when they are.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
My favorite part about being on Gold Rush are the girls and the relationships that come with it. I am lucky to be able to dance with such strong, smart, beautiful women.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My biggest cheerleader is my mom. She fully supports any dream I want to follow from big to small. I am very lucky to have someone as supportive as her.
How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
Gold Rush has already affected my life in so many great ways. I feel as though I have a group of 39 other girls (plus coaches) that truly believe and support everything I want to accomplish on and off the field. I now know that I am a part of something so much bigger than just a dance team.
