What, in your life, are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of being able to say I am there for people when they need me. I always try to make myself available to others and be there for them.
What was your first job?
I was a baby sitter for my mom's co-worker when I was young, but my first real job was working for Yosemite under YCC (youth conservation corps.)
Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends…
I have a miniature Yorkshire terrier who is 4 years old. I got him as a puppy only a month old and he is one of my best friends.
Who or what inspires you?
My mother is the person who inspires me. I have always walked in her footsteps and she has set a great example for me on how to be a strong independent woman.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I have wanted to be on this team since I was 17 but didn't audition until I was 23. It took me four years before I made the team. I also love to read mystery books and watch CSI shows and other crime investigation movies. I have a strong heart for animals and I want to help every animal on the street if I could.
What does it mean to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader?
To me, it means to embrace who you are as a person, an individual. This team embraces such diversity and love for the individuals and where we came from and they never lose sight of that. People who are on this team really get to understand the love and support of a true sisterhood.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
I like being able to be a part of a group of empowering women who are beautiful and share the same future prospects as myself even outside of dance.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My mom and fiancé. They have continued to check in with me throughout the entire process and help make sure all my outfits are just right.
How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
It has made me stronger as an individual and is helping me to push outside of my comfort zone to talk to more individuals. I feel more confident as a person.
