One of my favorite things to do in the bay area is to try out new restaurants! I love finding unique places with great food and an upbeat atmosphere.
What impact do cheerleaders have during a game and/or in the community?
The cheerleaders play a huge role in the 49ers community. Win or lose, we'll always be dancing with a smile on our face because we get to cheer on one of the best football teams in the NFL. Cheerleaders are there to lift the spirits of our 49ers Faithful and no matter what, we'll always be there to root on our team and pump up the crowd!
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
I love how we're one big team, from all different backgrounds, who have endless support and love for one another. When I'm cheering with the Gold Rush I feel inspired, empowered and unstoppable.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My parents are definitely my biggest cheerleaders! They're SO supportive and encouraging of my dreams, it's amazing.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
I knew I wanted to be a part of the Gold Rush when I was in my early teens. I looked up to all the women who got to dance their hearts out on the field. I told myself that one day I would become one of those women. As soon as I turned 18 I attended my first Gold Rush tryout. While I didn't make the team my first or second time trying out, I didn't let it stop me from reaching my goal. I tried out for a third time and made the team! Never give up on your dreams and never forget why you started!
