Josh Proctor

BIOGRAPHY

Josh Proctor joined the 49ers in 2009 and was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Planning in 2012.

In his current role, Josh serves as a primary interface with the lending group and the NFL League Office on the new Santa Clara stadium project.  He is also responsible for evaluating and identifying new business opportunities for the 49ers as well as assisting senior leadership in defining the next generation of the fan experience.

In his current role, Josh serves as a primary interface with the lending group and the NFL League Office on the new Santa Clara stadium project.  He is also responsible for evaluating and identifying new business opportunities for the 49ers as well as assisting senior leadership in defining the next generation of the fan experience.

Previously, Proctor spent two years as the Director of Special Projects.  In that role, he assisted the COO with the integration of the team’s business operations and was responsible for launching several new business initiatives including 49ers Gameday Live, the official mobile app of the 49ers, and Total Access for Kids, a weekly program produced for and hosted by the newest members of the 49ers Faithful.

Josh joins the 49ers from Disney, where he held several positions, most recently in the company’s Corporate Finance Group.  He was a member of the negotiation team on Shanghai Disneyland and assisted in the overall management of Disney’s capital structure.  He has also worked at Gap and Vivendi Universal in real estate finance and business development roles.

Proctor graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and received his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.  He is also active philanthropically, having served on the board of the Los Angeles Council of Hostelling International.
