Biography

Goldmine

  • Sunseri participated in numerous community service events to give back to the Louisiana community during his time with the New Orleans Saints. In June of 2015, he took part in former teammate Tim Lelito’s charity softball game to raise money for the “Get Checked or Check Out” foundation and the Team Gleason Foundation. In October of 2014, Sunseri and former Saints teammates helped donate and install more than $20,000 worth of exercise and game-room equipment to Hispanic Apostolate, a local youth program as part of the 16th Annual NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle.
  • Sunseri grew up in a football family. His father, Sal, has 31 years of experience coaching college and NFL football and is currently in his third year as the linebackers coach for the Oakland Raiders. Sal was the assistant head coach and linebackers coach at Alabama while Sunseri was in school in 2011. Sunseri’s brother, Tino, played quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL (2013-15) and is currently an offensive quality control coach at Florida State.
