TRANSACTIONS: Originally a fifth-round (173rd overall) draft choice by Baltimore in 2003...Signed by Jacksonville on March 3, 2007. Released by the Jaguars on 9/5/09...Signed by SF as a free agent on 9/7/09.
2009 HIGHLIGHTS: •Has rotated at right tackle position with Adam Snyder after being signed (9/7)seeing his first action vs, Sea. (9/20). •Made his first career start as a 49er at Hou. (10/25).
GOLDMINE: •Was tutored by 49ers offensive line coach Chris Foerster in Baltimore (2005-06), when Foerster served in the same capacity with the Ravens. •Enjoys studying Greek mythology and also speaks fluent Greek. COLLEGE: Pashos started 47 games at Right Tackle during his career and, was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten honoree averaging 9.2 knockdown blocks in his last two seasons. He also registered 114 knockdowns for an offense that gained 5,356 yards. Pashos also earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and Academic ll-Big Ten accolades. Pashos helped Illinois' offense produced over 5,000 yards for the first time in school history. Moved into starting lineup as a freshman after being redshirted in 1998. He graduated with a degree in history with a minor in political science.
