Mark Washington rejoins the 49ers after originally signing with San Francisco as a free agent following the 2007 supplemental draft. He spent 12 weeks on the San Francisco’s practice squad as a rookie before being signed to Miami’s active roster.

COLLEGE:
       
Saw action at defensive end and defensive tackle in 11 games in 2006 at Texas State-San Marcos, totaling 29 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He transferred from Arizona State, where he played in 8 games at linebacker as a true freshman, recording 7 tackles and one sack, before sitting out two full seasons to focus on academics
