•Spent the first 12 weeks of the season on the practice squad before being elevated to active roster, serving as a contributor on special teams.
COLLEGE:
•Played in 28 games over 4 seasons for Illinois, totaling 283 tackles, including 33 for a loss.
•A Ronnie Lott Award Semifinalist, earned first-team All-Big Ten honors by the media and second-team by the coaches as a senior.
•Led the Big Ten and was 5th in the NCAA with 11.0 tackles per game.
PERSONAL:
•Earned academic all-conference scholar-athlete all four years and earned academic all-state honors senior year at Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) HS.
•His biggest thrill in sports was beginning his football career on a 1-8 team, then qualifying for the state playoffs in his senior year.
•Was a member of the National Honor Society.
