Guilty Pleasure: Driving my mustang on the highway with the windows down and country music on the radio.
Most Adventurous Thing I Have Done: I moved to a new city (San Francisco) where I did not know anyone. It has forever changed my life. It was by far the best decision I have ever made.
Idea of Perfect Happiness: Good family, good friends, a fulfilling career, faith and inner peace.
Biggest Hero: Marie Curie- for many reasons. There were very few female engineers or scientists up until the past few decades. She far surpassed these cultural barriers back in the early 1900s, advising three doctoral students. She was the first female Nobel Prize winner and the first person to ever win or share two Nobel Prizes. It was under her direction that the world’s first studies were conducted into the treatment of neoplasms (cancer) using radioactive isotopes.
