The San Francisco 49ers expect all fans visiting Candlestick Park to behave appropriately and to respect all rules and regulations of the stadium. This includes all local, state and federal laws and any verbal or posted directives from the San Francisco 49ers or their representatives. The 49ers may refuse admission to or eject any ticket holder (without refund) who is deemed to be disorderly, displaying or verbalizing obscenity in any way or who fails to comply with these terms or any and all security measures. Please remember that season ticket holders are and will be held accountable for the behavior of fans that use their tickets.
All members of our game day staff are committed to proactively support an environment where patrons and their families, friends and/or clients can enjoy their experience free from any of the following:
We have increased the presence of our alcohol and disruptive fan response teams to maintain a positive environment in your section and throughout the stadium. Fans that behave or drink irresponsibly will be escorted from the stadium and subject to permanent loss of season ticket privileges. Fans are expected to sit in their ticketed seat location. When necessary, Ushers will request to see ticket stubs prior to a fan entering a seating section as we believe that it is a reasonable expectation to arrive at your seats without having them occupied.
We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests visiting Candlestick Park. Thus, we ask for your assistance as we continue to address the behavior of those who might negatively affect your game day experience. TO IMMEDIATELY REPORT UNRULY FAN BEHAVIOR please do one of the following:
All reports or tips regarding unruly fan behavior will be kept confidential.
SITTING - NOT - STANDING
For the safety and consideration of all our guests, please keep all aisles and vomitories clear and limit all movement within the seating area to breaks in the game action only. We firmly believe in the “12th Man / Woman” concept and spontaneous reactions to plays are expected and encouraged. However, continued standing during game action when other fans are sitting is not permitted. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the Stadium. By tendering the ticket and entering the Stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against the NFL, its member clubs, their affiliates and stadium landlord, or their agents. If you elect not to consent to the searches, you will be denied entry into the Stadium.
To avoid last minute gate pressure, we encourage fans to arrive at the stadium entry gates much earlier than normal. We have posted signage around the stadium and parking lots encouraging fans to arrive at the entry gates no later than 75 MINUTES PRIOR TO KICK OFF.
An express gate has been added at Gates A, B, E and F for people who are not carrying permitted items in need of inspection (i.e. small purses or fanny packs measuring less than 14”x14”x10”). Please see the “PERMITTED & PROHIBITED ITEMS” below for a list of our permitted and prohibited items. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, however we feel the safety of our fans warrants this potential inconvenience.
ALL INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR BELONGINGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Fans with medical bags or items they must carry with them must be inspected and either have a wristband or sticker placed on it to show that it has been inspected. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER TO AVOID LAST MINUTE GATE PRESSURE
