Since 1971, their first season at Candlestick Park, the San Francisco 49ers have compiled a 197-119-1 home record in the regular season and play-offs, which is an amazing winning percentage of over .620! With the exception of one "home" victory at Stanford Stadium after the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, each one of these victories began in the world-famous San Francisco 49ers Locker Room.
From the arrival of players on game-day, to the head coach making a victory speech and handing out game balls, the Locker Room is where the game day experience originates and concludes for the San Francisco 49ers.
The San Francisco 49ers Locker Room is approximately 30' x 50' and has about 60 individual lockers. Two of the most dominating features are the jerseys and the photos of some the greatest 49ers of all time and the giant San Francisco 49ers logo in the middle of the room; all of which are constant reminders of the rich tradition and successful history of the San Francisco 49ers.
