Exit terminal, keep right and follow signs to 101-North toward San Francisco. Continue North on 101 for 6.5 miles to first Candlestick Park exit. Continue on into parking area.

Directions to Candlestick Park From: San Jose Airport

Exit terminal left on Airport Blvd. To Airport Parkway (first light). Turn right on Airport Parkway to Guadalupe Parkway (first light). Turn left on Guadalupe Parkway to 101-North toward San Francisco. Continue North on 101 for 45 miles to first Candlestick Park exit. Continue on into parking area.

Directions to Candlestick Park From: Oakland International Airport

Exit terminal onto Airport Dr. heading NE, to 880-North toward Downtown Oakland. Merge onto I-80 W toward San Francisco / Bay Bridge. I-80 W becomes US-101 S. Take the first Candlestick Park exit. Continue on into parking area.

Miles: 36, Time: 43 minutes.

Candlestick Park Traffic Tips

Parking Prices (subject to change without notice):

· Interior Lot (Automobiles measuring less than 8’ wide and / or 17’ long, or motorcycles) - $25

· Exterior Lots(These lots are privately owned and operated and not necessarily under the control of the San Francisco 49ers) - $30

· RV Lot (RV’s, vehicles with trailers, limos, or any other vehicles measuring 8’ in width and / or 17’ in length or more) - $40

· Bus Lot - $30 ($40 for articulated)

Pre-Game Tips

Traveling from the North Bay Area / San Francisco, take 101 south to the Cow Palace / Third Street exit. Go left and over the freeway onto Third Street. Continue on Third Street and turn right onto Gilman or Carroll. Proceed to the parking lots.

Traveling from the South Bay Area / Peninsula, take 101 north to the main Candlestick Park exit. Follow the signage to the parking lots.

Traveling from the Southern East Bay Area / Hayward, take 92 west over the San Mateo Bridge and then 101 north to the main Candlestick Park exit. Follow the signage to the parking lots.

Traveling from the Northern East Bay Area / Oakland, take 80 west over the Bay Bridge and then 101 south to the Cow Palace / Third Street exit. Go left and over the freeway onto Third Street. Continue on Third Street and turn right onto Gilman or Carroll. Proceed to the parking lots.

To gain access to Lots A, B, C, Overflow C or the TV Lot you MUST follow the directions below.

49ers Parking pass holders ONLY (YELLOW PASS) FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH, take the 3rd Street exit to Jamestown Ave & turn right. Use right lanes. Prepaid parking pass holders may be directed to exterior lots.
Non-pass holders / General parking FROM THE NORTH, for quickest parking take 101 south to Caesar Chavez and proceed east to Evans. Turn right, continue to 3rd Street and turn right.  Proceed to Carroll, turn left and continue to parking lots. FROM THE SOUTH, take the main Candlestick Park exit off of 101.  For quickest parking, stay in the right hand lanes. FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH, take the 3rd Street exit to Carroll Ave and turn right. Continue to lots.
Internal parking lots (A, B, L, Employees & Players Lot)  FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH, take the 3rd Street exit to Jamestown Ave. & turn right. Use Lane #1 – Far left hand lane closest to the fence.   
(C, Overflow C,TV Lots)   FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH, take the 3rd Street exit to Ingerson Avenue and turn right. Enter Bus Lot and follow instructions / signage.
Post-Game Tips

East-Bound Post-Game Tips
Avoid post-game congestion on northbound 101 through downtown San Francisco by using Third Street or the northbound 280 freeway:

To reach the Bay Bridge from Gilman or Carroll Avenue, use the right lane of Gilman or Carroll Avenue. At Third Street (traffic signal) turn right, toward downtown. Go north for about four miles. Turn right at Harrison Street and follow the signs to the Bay Bridge.

To reach the Bay Bridge from Harney Way, use the left lane of Harney Way. Go north (toward downtown) on the 101 freeway for about one mile, then take the 280 North exit toward Port of SF. Take the Sixth Street exit and follow the signs to the Bay Bridge.

North-Bound Post-Game Tips

Avoid post-game congestion on northbound 101 through downtown San Francisco by using Third Street or the northbound 280 freeway:

To reach northbound 280 from Harney Way, use the left lane of Harney Way. Go north (toward downtown) on 101 for about one mile, then take the 280 North exit toward Downtown San Francisco.

To reach northbound 280 from Gilman or Carroll Avenues, use the right lane of Gilman or Carroll Avenue. At Third Street (traffic signal) turn right, toward downtown. Go north on Third Street and turn left at Palou Avenue, Evans Avenue or Cesar Chavez (Army) Street. Follow the signs to the 280 North entrance.

West-Bound Post-Game Tips

Avoid post-game congestion on southbound 101 to 92 west by using the 280 freeway:

To reach southbound 280 from Harney Way, use the left lane of Harney Way. Go north (toward downtown) on 101 for about one mile, then take the 280 South exit toward Daly City. In other words, "Go North to go South."
