Posted Jun 12, 2014

Madden 15 provides a glimpse into 49ers home games, Sarah and Jim Harbaugh film a hilarious commercial and the Atlanta Falcons sign on with "Hard Knocks."

Each weekday morning, 49ers.com reviews the most newsworthy and engaging content from around the web involving the 49ers and the NFL. We seek it out, so you don't have to. Enjoy.

1. Levi's® Stadium Comes to Life

Madden 15 is almost here.

The annual anticipation for the iconic NFL video game continues to grow. Today, EA Sports released a video, showcasing the new game play.

It just so happened that the game they featured was between NFC rivals, 49ers and Seahawks, and took place at Levi’s® Stadium.

49ers fans might be upset to see their favorite team trail 6-3 at the end of the first quarter, but the video does provide a great glimpse into what 2014 49ers home games will look like.

2. Rid the World of ‘Dad Pants’

Jim Harbaugh has made his khakis famous.

Despite the fame, the San Francisco 49ers head coach has traded in his “dad pants” for a pair of Dockers.

In this sensational commercial from the company, Sarah Harbaugh calls out her husband for looking “like he’d hung the curtains from his belt.”

The commercial is really too good to explain in words. You simply have to watch it for yourself…

3. Two More on Top 100

Frank Gore and NaVorro Bowman cracked the annual NFL Top 100 list at numbers 46 and 47 respectively.

Players are ranked based on votes by their peers.

Carolina Panthers fullback Mike Tolbert heaped praise on Bowman in the segment put together by NFL Network.

“He’s a warrior and he knows how to play the game the right way,” Tolbert said.

The 49ers now have six players ranked from 40-100 with Gore and Bowman joining Vernon Davis (51), Justin Smith (69), Joe Staley (75) and Colin Kaepernick (81).

4. “Hard Knocks” Heads to ATL

“Hard Knocks,” a training camp favorite for NFL fans, will be heading to Atlanta for it’s ninth-season.

“We are excited about the opportunity to give our fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to prepare an NFL team for the rigors of a 16-game regular season and beyond,” said Falcons Owner & Chairman Arthur M. Blank. “This marks the first time that our franchise will be featured on Hard Knocks and we look forward to showcasing our great players and coaches to football fans all across America.”

The season begins on August 5 on HBO.
