Posted Oct 5, 2014

See some of the best social media posts from the 49ers win against the Chiefs, including the postgame handshake between quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith.

Alex Smith facing his former team dominated the storylines heading in to the 49ers Week 5 matchup.

During the week, Colin Kaepernick praised Smith for the handling of the situation when the former Nevada signal caller took over as the 49ers starting quarterback during the 2012 season.

In case you’ve ever wanted to get a glimpse inside of the 49ers locker room, here is a 360-degree view.

When the players arrived, 49ers Studios was there to document the team’s pregame preparation.

Once it was time for kickoff, the Forty Viners were ready.

Phil Dawson was 5 for 5 on the day, including this 30-yard field goal that gave the 49ers a five-point lead with 2:12 remaining.

The Chiefs needed a touchdown to win and the Faithful at Levi’s® Stadium rose to the occasion.

Just like wide receiver Stevie Johnson did last week, safety Antoine Bethea had this to say to the fans…
