Joe Montana Spends Time with Colin Kaepernick, Patrick Willis

Posted Apr 28, 2014

San Francisco Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana visited with current quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis over the weekend.

Colin Kaepernick's mother, Teresa Kaepernick, documented a unique moment over the weekend.

She doesn't happen to tweet a lot, but she did offer a solid post: An image of the San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback visiting with Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana.

The signal-callers were taking part in an autograph show at the Cow Palace, an event that also featured an appearance by seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis.

Both current Niners posed for photos with Montana. Teresa posted a photo of Colin and Joe with a fitting caption "Chasing greatness."

Willis, too, shared an image from his latest visit with Montana. San Francisco's defensive leader said bumping into Montana was one of the highlights of the day.

Willis finished his post with, "#coolkat."

Indeed.

Oh, and Teresa shared a photo that could be an NFL offseason rule violation. Just kidding.

Nobody will ever be upset about it. Colin spent time with a miniature version of Jim Harbaugh.
