Jim Harbaugh Corrected by Fashion Police

Posted Sep 9, 2013

Jim Harbaugh's famous attire was once again a topic of discussion.

Jim Harbaugh grabbed the wrong black microfleece on Sunday.

The 49ers coach picked one with a former NFL uniform supplier instead of his custom Nike gear.

Harbaugh’s clothing attire is all about cutting drag. He wants to get things done quickly, getting dressed being chief among them. The 49ers coach has been known to wear the same outfit at just about every event he attends – from golfing at Pebble Beach – to coaching in Super Bowl XLVII.

Harbaugh’s fashion violation was spotted in the first half of Sunday’s season opening win over Green Bay.

“It was a mistake,” the 49ers coach said. “I had the wrong one.”

Harbaugh met with the media in a black fleece top that had the Super Bowl emblem on his right arm.

When asked if was a part of his daily routine, the 49ers coach simply replied, “It’s in the rotation.”

Harbaugh said there’s five or six fleece tops hanging in his closet. He simply grabs a different one each day.

Harbaugh maintained his innocence in the mishap.

He had everyone in the media laughing when he offered this closing statement.

“There was no malice intended,” he said. “It won’t happen again.”

Harbaugh’s influence on fashion was felt this offseason with the creation of his signature shirt.
