Willis, Asomugha Do Not Practice

Patrick Willis and Nnamdi Asomugha were the only 49ers to miss Tuesday's practice.

According to Jim Harbaugh, there’s a possibility All-Pro linebacker Patrick Willis could play Thursday night against the St. Louis

But as of Tuesday, Willis (groin) was unable to practice.

Only two players were held out of Tuesday’s sessions –Willis, the starting inside linebacker and nickel cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee).

Another notable aspect of San Francisco’s injury report, tight end Vernon Davis (hamstring) was limited in practice. Likewise, special teams standout Bubba Ventrone (concussion) was limited in practice on Tuesday after being held out on Monday.

For the Rams, tackle Joe Barksdale missed practice (not injury related) and seven players returned to practice after being limited on Monday. Notable among the group, tackle Jake Long, linebacker James Laurinaitis and running back Daryl Richardson.
