It’s tough just trying to learn quarterback. Really, I’m just trying to master the quarterback position and learn everything I can because the quarterback is supposed to know what everybody is doing on the field. It’s definitely cool being out here and having veterans in front of you, guys like
TIPS FROM HARBAUGH & KAEPERNICK
I get a lot of tips from both. We have a lot of offensive coaches who are doing some really good things to help me. We have a lot of great minds, so I’m trying to soak it all in, stay positive and just continue to stay focused. I try to keep chipping away at things little by little.
We’re getting along great. We really are. On the offensive side of the ball, we’re really gelling together and on the defensive side, it’s a friendly competition. We always joke with each other when we go back to the locker room or when we go back to the hotel. We talk about who did what on each day. It’s cool and it’s exciting to come to practice with the goal of making each other better.
Right now, I’m just in the playbook. That’s the biggest thing. But I like to draw. I like to write and hang out with the new teammates, too. That’s pretty much all I’m doing right now. When it comes to art, I like to draw logos and I like to draw sports figures. A lot of the time I put myself in those positions, but that’s pretty much it.
