San Francisco's confident kicker made four field goals, including the game-winner from 22 yards out in a 19-17 win.
For his efforts, the 15-year veteran has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. It’s the third time Dawson has taken home a Player of the Week Award, and it’s his first win since Week 15 of 2005.
Dawson’s field goal against Seattle was his first game-winner with the 49ers. It also gave him 20 consecutive made field goals, a franchise record.
"I try not to think about it. I try to treat every kick the same,” Dawson said of his streak after the 49ers improved to 9-4. “You have to have a bad memory. Unfortunately, I have a very good memory; I remember my last miss.”

Dawson has made 23 field goals in his first season in San Francisco. He’s 23 of 26 on the season and is a perfect 14-of-14 from inside of 39 yards.
The veteran kicker signed a one-year contract with the 49ers during free agency has been a reliable specialist for Jim Harbaugh.
“To kick 20-straight field goals, quite an accomplishment,” Jim Harbaugh said of his kicker. “You get a chance to put points on the board you want those points.”
