The San Francisco 49ers recently wrapped up veteran minicamp and are now taking time off to get ready and recharged for training camp. According to many, the team’s offseason program was a rewarding experience which enabled the players to gain understanding of the playbook while getting prepared for the upcoming season. Find out how the offseason workouts went for center 
Q: What was your impression of the offseason program under Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers coaching staff?
A: It was fast-paced, but the rules are a lot tighter so there’s only so much you can do in terms of blocking for offensive linemen. But I think we got a lot of good work done and got a lot of good reps in the time we were out here.
Q: What was your favorite drill during this offseason program?
A: Driving the Crowther sled. It’s something Coach Solari has us do to get down and use our hips to explode. It’s old school, classic football – just driving a sled as an offensive lineman. It’s something you grow up doing, so it was fun.
Q: Which player jumped out at you on the practice fields?
A: I would go with
Q: What are your plans during the downtime in July?
A: I’ll be working out and just relaxing as much as I can, honestly. I probably won’t do anything too big but just want to get ready for the season.
Q: How would you describe the current mental state of this team to the 49ers Faithful?
A: It’s a humble team that’s still working hard and still trying to figure out a way to achieve our goals. It’s a team that works hard and is pushing to become a better team and improve off of last year.
