“He’s a special player there’s no doubt,” San Francisco’s offensive coordinator, Greg Roman, said Tuesday morning on KNBR. “He’s a guy they give a lot of freedom to. He can take certain gaps and adjust on the fly.
“The more you watch the film – everybody knows this going into the game, yet you continue to see it, so you have to plan around him.”
Roman was asked by KNBR's host whether he would have interest in USC’s current head coaching vacancy. The 49ers play-caller said all of his focus was on his current job.
“The more I watch J.J. Watt,” Roman said, “the more factual that statement is.”
