Which wide receivers have the most to prove at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine?
Mike Huguenin of NFL.com has an idea.
According to the NFL scribe, the deep receiver class has a big opportunity to grab attention and move and down draft boards while in Indianapolis.
In particular, Huguenin wants to see the performances of Wisconsin's Jared Abbrederis, Wyoming's Robert Herron, Vanderbilt's Jordan Matthews, Mississippi's Donte Moncrief, Penn State's Allen Robinson and Clemon's Sammy Watkins.
"He is expected to turn in a great 40 time. His agility looks good, too. In short, he should be a combine standout," Huguenin wrote.
Some are wondering if the Clemson play-maker can best Marquis Goodwin's 4.27, 40-yard dash back in 2013. The former Texas standout was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the draft.
Watkins won't have to wait that long to hear his name called. The only question is which team will make him a top-10 draft pick.
