1. Pitch Count for Crab

Crabtree is on the field for Organzied Team Activities, but the veteran receiver is taking a careful approach after tearing his Achilles a year ago during the voluntary workouts.

"Michael practiced a good portion of the workout," Jim Harbaugh said on Wednesday. "There’s a plan in place for him."

Crabtree didn't take part in 7-on-7 or team periods that were open to the media.

Not to worry, says the 49ers head coach. It's all by design.

"(He was) more limited than some of the other receivers that we have, but I think our medical staff and Michael and we as coaches, are taking a smart approach."
