Posted Jul 21, 2010

The San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday announced a new multi-year agreement with HP, which will serve as the presenting partner for the 49ers 2010 Season, including presenting partner of the 2010 49ers Training Camp.  The 49ers 2010 schedule kicks off with a preseason contest on Sunday, August 15 in Indianapolis against the reigning AFC Champion Colts. Regular season competition begins for the 49ers on Sunday, September 12 with another road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

“We are very excited to have our first ever season presenting partner in HP.  HP will have a strong brand presence integrated into the presentation of 49ers football – from training camp to the 2010 season,” said 49ers Chief Sales Officer John Vidalin. “Similar to the 49ers international relevance in football, HP’s technology innovation is international in scope so we’re excited to see a partnership between a pair of iconic brands headquartered in the Bay Area.”

Through the 2013 season, HP will serve as the “Proud Technology Innovation Partner” of the San Francisco 49ers.

“HP is synonymous with innovation,” said Michael Mendenhall, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, HP. “Pairing our brand with the San Francisco 49ers, one of the most storied franchises in the NFL, creates a dynamic combination that can bring together fans of both organizations.”

HP creates new possibilities for technology to have a meaningful impact on people, businesses, governments and society. The world’s largest technology company, HP brings together a portfolio that spans printing, personal computing, software, services and IT infrastructure to solve customer problems.
