49ers Announce Roster Moves

The San Francisco 49ers announced on Monday they have signed LS Jon Condo to a one-year deal. In order to make room on the roster, the team waived LS Colin Holba. The team also signed OL Will Holden to the team's practice squad.

Condo (6-3, 240) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 29, 2005. A two-time Pro Bowler (2009, 2011), Condo has appeared in 180 games and one postseason contest throughout his career with the Cowboys (2005), Oakland Raiders (2006-17) and Atlanta Falcons (2018), and registered 43 tackles and three fumble recoveries on special teams. Last season, Condo was signed by the Falcons on December 4, 2018 and appeared in the final four games of the season.

A 38-year-old native of Philipsburg, PA, Condo attended the University of Maryland. In five years with the Terrapins (2000-04), he appeared in 49 games and served as the primary long snapper following his redshirt season in 2000.

Condo will wear number 59.

Holden (6-7, 312) was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He appeared in 11 games (seven starts) for Arizona prior to being waived by the team on July 20, 2019. Holden was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins on July 21 and later waived on August 27. He then signed with the Seattle Seahawks on August 29 and was waived on August 31.

A 26-year-old native of Green Cove Springs, FL, Holden attended Vanderbilt University (2012-16) where he appeared in 48 games (35 starts).
