CBS 5 I The CW 44cable12 are the official television partners of the San Francisco 49ers preseason broadcasts and the flagship television stations of the San Francisco 49ers Television Network.
Dennis O'Donnell (Play-by-Play) 49ers Press Pass
Sixteen shows air on CW Bay Area on Tuesdays at 12:30 am and 8:00 am. Webcasts of the press conferences will also be streamed live on CBS5.com. Each week during the regular season, CBS5’s Dennis O’Donnell will take viewers to 49ers headquarters to listen in on the 49ers weekly Monday Press Conference and analyze the 49ers upcoming opponent. “Press Pass” will air for 16 shows on CW Bay Area, Tuesdays at 12:30 am. Webcasts of the 49ers press conferences will also be streamed live on CBS5.com. Special Shows

Dennis O'DonnellO'Donnell serves as the Sports Director at CBS 5 and appears Sunday through Thursday on Eyewitness News. In 2005, O'Donnell earned an Emmy as San Francisco's top sportscaster. He joined the CBS 5 News Team in August, 2000 and has been a fixture in Bay Area sports broadcasting since 1982. O'Donnell enters his seventh season as the preseason voice of the 49ers, calling the play-by-play on CBS 5. He has called the play-by-play for over 80 sporting events since 1999, including Stanford and University of San Francisco basketball for Fox Sports and Bay TV. O'Donnell also hosts CBS 5's NFL post-game show "The 5th Quarter," "49ers Preview," "Last Honest Sports Show," "49ers Press Pass” and the number-one rated Sunday night sports show," "Gameday" every Sunday night at 11:30 p.m. |

49ers Postgame Live Catch 49ers Post Game Live immediately following all 49ers games on CSNBA! 49ers Postgame Live continues to be the leading destination for the Forty Niner Faithful, with comprehensive one-hour coverage featuring in-depth game analysis, locker room interviews and player reaction, full coverage of head coach Jim Harbaugh and key players’ press conferences and a preview of the following week’s game. Following home games, Comcast SportsNet anchor/reporter Dave Benz and former 49er Dwight Clark will host 49ers Postgame Live from Candlestick Park. After road games, the co-hosts will be based in the network’s studio in San Francisco. Comcast SportsNet anchor/reporter Mindi Bach and CSNBayArea.com’s 49ers Insider Matt Maiocco will conduct player and coach interviews from the stadium. 49ers Central Twenty shows air throughout the season on CSNBA, Tuesdays at 4:30 pm. 49ers Central is re-aired several times throughout the week and is also available on Comcast’s Video-On-Demand system. Hosted by Dave Benz with analysts Eric Davis and Steve Bono, each thirty minute show includes film sessions, taped snippets from the Head Coach Press Conference, one-on-one interviews with the Head Coach or Coordinators and various entertainment elements.
49ers Press Conference Live will be held every Monday at 11:45 pm after all regular season 49ers games on CSNBA. Show re-airs throughout the week and is also available on Comcast’s Video-On-Demand system. The show will feature the live broadcast of the weekly press conference with the head coach held at the 49ers training facility in Santa Clara, including analysis and comments from hosts and 49ers beat writers. 49ers Press Pass 16 shows air on CW Bay Area 44 Cable 12 Each week during the regular season, CW Bay Area will take viewers to 49ers headquarters to the head coach recap the previous weekend’s game and analyze the 49ers upcoming opponent. “Press Pass” will air on CW Bay Area, Tuesdays at 12:30 a.m. and again on Tuesday mornings at 8 a.m. Webcasts of the 49ers press conferences will also be streamed live on CBS 5.com. The 49ers Red & Gold Specials, hosted by Joe Fonzi, will provide viewers with up close access to Bay Area football legends including, Bill Walsh, Steve Young, Keena Turner, Abe Woodson, members of the Million Dollar Backfield, Frank Nunley, Bob St. Clair, Dwight Hicks, Y.A. Tittle, Dave Wilcox, Jesse Sapolu, Billy Wilson, Lon Simmons, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Perry, R.C. Owens and many more. The shows will provide a first person perspective on the 49ers and the events in team history most cherished by the 49ers Faithful. Each 30-minute broadcast will be filled with stories and highlights of the moments that have thrilled fans for the past six decades. |
