What is your day job?
I spend each day educating young children, each day is brand new and no day is the same as before. Some days aren’t always easy and patience is a very important attribute, but in the end it is truly the most rewarding job. Teaching is a job that lasts forever because the values and lessons you teach children today are ones they will continue to remember and work on for the rest of their lives.
What is your most prized possession?
My Family. I’m thankful for each and every single one of them. They have all been a part in making me the woman I am today. They are my inspiration and are the foundation that drives me to succeed. No matter how near or far, family will always be an important value to me. To this day I still find myself picking up the phone and talking to my parents often more than twice in one day.
What is the most important attribute of a 49ers cheerleader?
I don’t think I could pick just one. Commitment, confidence, enthusiasm and self respect are all very important. Our job isn’t just about being on the field. The most important times are when we are interacting with the community. We are not 32 individual dancers, but we are a team of women who are role models to those around us.

What is the hardest thing about being a cheerleader?
The hardest thing about being a cheerleader is the time you sacrifice away from your friends and family. Luckily I have a strong and supportive team around me that understand how important being part of the Gold Rush is to me.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my education. I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.
How do you relax?
I’m a girly girl. I love getting manicures, pedicures, massages, facials and shopping. But when times are tough a nice warm bubble bath will always do the trick!
Tell us about a positive experience in the past year.
I think one of the most positive experiences for me this past year was being able to be a part of the presidential election. I will be proud to say one day to my children I was able to partake in the historical moment. I’m happy to see how far we have come as a society and believe that many new doors will continue to open for all of our futures.
My Guilty Pleasure?
Frozen yogurt for dessert and animal style french fries from In and Out! I'm getting hungry thinking about them both!
What is your performance experience?
I’ve had performance experience as a dancer and actor. My degree is in Performing Arts with an emphasis in theatre. I’ve had the opportunity as an actor to work on numerous productions and competitions both in Northern and Southern California as well as other states. My Favorite roles include Katherine from Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” and Adela from “The House of Bernarda Alba.” As a dancer and cheerleader one of my most memorable performances was dancing throughout the streets of Paris, France for a New Years Day Parade.
What would you like to tell hopeful Gold Rush cheerleaders?
The first step you need to take is to audition. You will never know if you don’t try. Be who you are and allow your confidence to shine. Being a part of Gold Rush is a remarkable experience and I know I would have had regret if I had never tried out.
